Norstar Home Video was a Canadian home video company active during the mid-1980s.

Background Edit

Norstar was founded as the second generation of Program Hunters, Inc. in 1985. They released a variety of films made in the 1970s and 1980s. Norstar quickly grew in size to become one of the largest video companies in Canada at the time.

By 1988, Norstar's market share had shrunk as other video companies grew in size. Norstar merged with Star Classics in 1989 to form Family Tyme.
